DART
Alpha-radiotherapy for Precision Radiation Oncology
Heads:
Pr. Désirée Déandréis; Pr. Eric Deutsch
Objectives
DART is the first integrated European platform dedicated to alpha therapy, designed to accelerate the development of this emerging therapeutic modality from the preclinical stage through to clinical application. Its bench-to-bedside approach is supported by a preclinical and clinical center of excellence, combined with the development of advanced three-level dosimetry powered by artificial intelligence modeling. This integrated framework aims to optimize treatment planning, improve therapeutic efficacy, and facilitate the translation of alpha-emitting radiopharmaceuticals into clinical practice.

Technology and expertises
DART provides industrial partners with fast-track, secure access to alpha-therapy development through three interconnected pillars.
1. A GLP-certified preclinical radiopharmaceutical facility combining regulatory compliance with access to the unique expertise available at the Gustave Roussy site.
2. A Centre of Clinical Excellence supported by Gustave Roussy’s Clinical Research Platform and Department of Therapeutic Innovation (DITEP), dedicated to the development of alpha-emitting therapies from Phase 0 to Phase III clinical trials.
3. A translational research platform in medical physics, radiobiology, pharmacokinetics, and immunology bringing together multimodal imaging, advanced dosimetry, artificial intelligence, and molecular profiling within a single infrastructure to support the full development pathway of alpha-therapy.
