Eric Deutsch, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Radiation Oncology and Vice-Dean for Research at Paris-Saclay University, affiliated with Institut Gustave Roussy. He directs several innovative clinical trials focusing on radiotherapy combined with immunotherapy. Deutsch leads a preclinical research lab investigating radiobiology, immunotherapy, biomarkers, and radiomics. He is notably involved in translating research into clinical practice through projects like the RHU LYSAIRI. A recipient of numerous awards including the Claudius Regaud Prize, Deutsch actively contributes to international guidelines and standards in oncology. He also founded the international Immunorad conference dedicated to immunotherapy and radiotherapy interactions​

 

Nikos Paragios is a Distinguished Professor of Mathematics at University of Parsi-Saclay (on partial leave) and CEO of TheraPanacea. He has held prominent roles at institutions such as Inria, Siemens Corporate Research, and several U.S & EU universities. An IEEE Fellow, he has authored over 450+ publications, holds 45 patents, and has supervised more than 50 PhD students. His work has earned ~32,500 citations (H-index: 79), and he has received major honors including the ERC Excellence Awards, the Bodossaki Prize, and MIT Technology Review’s TR35. He served as Editor-in-Chief of Computer Vision and Image Understanding (2012–2022) and is a member of the Safran Scientific Council (2011-).
