PathLab

High Quality Tissue collection, Digital and Computational pathology

Heads:

Pr. Jérôme Cros, Pr. Valérie Paradis

Objectives

PathLab is an augmented pathology platform integrating AP-HP tissue biobanks, digital imaging, spatial omics, and artificial intelligence, dedicated to enhancing the value of industrial healthcare projects. PathLab offers a one-stop shop for biopharmaceutical companies, medtech and biotech firms, as well as stakeholders specialized in digital pathology and artificial intelligence.

Technology and expertises

PathLab offers integrated access to extensive tissue collections, including non-tumor, precancerous, and tumor tissues in fresh, frozen, and FFPE formats, through AP-HP’s multi-site biobank network, as well as to advanced tissue models such as ex vivo organotypic tissue slices and organoids. The platform has developed strong expertise in multi-omics technologies and data analysis, particularly for complex spatial datasets, alongside the development of deep learning models that link transcriptomics and imaging at single-cell resolution. These capabilities enable high-throughput characterization of tumor features and the prediction of treatment response.
