OUR PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING POLICY:

The Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster (PSCC) would like to inform you about how we handle the personal data we receive not only when you browse our website (https://www.parissaclaycancercluster.org/), but also about how we handle certain personal data that we collect and process in the course of our business.

 

I. Processing of data received during browsing on the parissaclaycancercluster.org website

The website parissaclaycancercluster.org/, (hereinafter referred to as the "Site") is provided by the Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster association. For more information about the publisher of the Site, you can consult the Legal Notice section.

Unless otherwise stated in the following chapters, the legal basis for processing your personal data is that such processing is necessary to provide you with the features of the Site that you have requested (Art. 6 (1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation).

1. Access to the site

When you access the Site, your browser transmits certain data to our web server. This is necessary for technical reasons and to provide you with the information you seek. To facilitate access to our Site, the following data is collected, used and stored for a limited period of time:

  • IP address

  • date and time of access

  • time zone

  • content of the information requested

 

2. Use of the Contact Forms on our Site

This Website contains a contact form that allows you to contact us directly.

If you wish to contact us by means of this form, you will be asked to provide the following information: Name, first name, email address, employer, position, general subject of your request.

We will collect, process and use the information you provide via this contact form exclusively to process your request.

 

3. Subscribe to our newsletter and receive information from the PSCC

If you wish, you can subscribe to our newsletter and receive public information from the PSCC via our Site by completing a dedicated form. On the basis of your prior consent, we collect the following information via this form: name, first name, email address, company. We will use the email address you provide to deliver the newsletter and this public information. For this subscription we use a "simple consent" procedure, i.e. you agree to receive this newsletter and the company's public information as soon as you fill in the dedicated form. However, you have the possibility after subscribing, and at any time, to unsubscribe freely by using the link at the bottom of each email or by writing to contact@parissaclaycancercluster.org.

 

4. External services or content on our Site

Our Site may include third party services and/or content. When you use these third party services or when third party content is displayed, communication data is exchanged between you and the relevant provider for technical reasons (e.g. Vimeo for video playback).

The provider in question may also process your data for purposes other than those originally specified. To the best of our knowledge, the services and content offered are configured in such a way that they are only offered to you if you have given your consent to use them. However, as we have no control over the data collected and processed by third parties, we are not in a position to provide information as to the scope and purpose of the processing of your data by such third parties.

II. Transfer of data for outsourced processing

In order to process your data, we may use specialised service providers. Such service providers are carefully selected by the PSCC and meet strict requirements, formalised in the contracts we sign with them. They will process your personal data, only on our instructions and in accordance with our guidelines and in compliance with the European Data Protection Regulation EU/2016/679 of 27 April 2016 ("GDPR").

 

III. Data processing outside the EU / EEA

Your data may also be processed in part in countries outside the European Union ("EU") or the European Economic Area ("EEA") which may have a lower level of data protection than European countries. In such cases, CCSP will ensure that a sufficient level of protection is provided for your data, for example by entering into specific agreements with our contractual partners, or we will seek your explicit consent to such processing.

 

IV. Information about your rights

In accordance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data and the provisions of the RGPD, you have the following rights with regard to the data concerning you:

  • right to information about your personal data stored by us ;

  • right to request correction, deletion or restricted processing of your personal data;

  • right to object to processing on grounds of legitimate interest, public interest or profiling, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or that such processing is carried out for the purposes of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims;

  • right to portability of your data ;

  • right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority ;

  • you may at any time revoke your consent to the collection, processing and future use of your personal data.

V. Changes to our privacy and data processing policy

We are committed to a policy of continuous improvement of our privacy and personal data processing policy, particularly since the entry into force of the European Data Protection Regulation EU/2016/679 of 27 April 2016 ("GDPR"). Therefore, in the course of this continuous improvement process, we may need to update this policy. Updates to this policy will be posted on our Site and any changes will be effective upon posting on our Site. We therefore recommend that you visit our Site regularly to keep abreast of any such updates.
